【職責範圍｜Job Responsibilities】
As a Trade Analyst on Baixian’s Trade Team specializing in the Russian language, you will have a blend of responsibilities that range from market analysis to direct sales and sector-specific tasks focused on Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking countries.
• Perform detailed market research to identify emerging trends, pricing dynamics, and opportunities within the global seafood market, with a specific focus on Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking regions.
• Analyze data on seafood stocks, catch volumes, and seasonal fluctuations to support strategic decision-making regarding inventory management and procurement, particularly for Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking markets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the seafood industry, aiming to increase market share and revenue across different market segments in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking countries.
• Build and maintain relationships with seafood buyers in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking regions, understanding their needs and preferences to tailor offerings and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Cultivate strong relationships with fisheries, traders, processors, aquaculture farms, and other seafood suppliers to secure high-quality products and negotiate favorable terms.
• Manage all aspects of regulatory compliance related to seafood import/export, including health standards, customs declarations, and trade regulations specific to Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking countries.
• Oversee financial transactions, including invoicing, payment scheduling, cost tracking, and revenue analysis.
• Regularly report on market trends, sales performance, and supply chain efficiency, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities, such as market expansion studies or new product development, as assigned by the team supervisor.

• Insightful Market Intelligence: Provide market intelligence that drives procurement and sales strategies in the seafood industry for Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking markets.
• Effective Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets through effective strategy implementation and client engagement in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking regions.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Manage the seafood supply chain to optimize cost, quality, and sustainability, particularly in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking markets.
• Regulatory and Sustainability Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with industry regulations and sustainability standards, with specific attention to those relevant to Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking countries.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Maintain robust relationships with suppliers and clients in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking regions to ensure long-term business growth and stability.
【條件要求｜Qualifications】
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related fields. A background in Mathematics, Physics, or other quantitative disciplines is highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills in Russian, with the capability to negotiate effectively and build relationships with industry stakeholders in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking countries.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of trade dynamics and regulatory environments, particularly in Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking regions.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Russian is required. Additional proficiency in Ukrainian or a third language relevant to key seafood markets is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation is highly preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in the seafood industry, market analysis, or a related commercial role is highly desirable.
