Job Distribution:
• Increase company Institutional market share. Target markets will include, but are not limited to - restaurants, hotels and long-term care facilities to schools, commercial buildings and government facilities.
• Achieve new business sales targets established as part of the budgeting process.
• Ensure growth via new business is profitable by working to strict pricing guidelines.
• Conduct technical surveys to ensure a targeted company program.
• Prepare and present presentations to convey the company value proposition and secure new business.
• Construct basic customer rollout plans to ensure the customer and field team clearly understand the expectation.
• Work with the field team and act as the one voice of company during prospecting, proposals and presentations.
• Manage the relationship transition to the Regional/State sales team or Corporate Accounts.
• Build and foster industry contacts via networking, trade shows, functions and equipment suppliers.
• Work closely with Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, Corporate Account Managers and Regional/State Managers to achieve the desired sales outcome.
Qualifications:
• 4+years of Hospitality/Food Service related outside sales experience and willing to be on call during off hours and weekends
• Previous sales development experience within the Institutional market sectors
• Be results-orientated and possess a strong track record in a B2B selling role
• Be accustomed to growing the business by negotiating and winning new business at the executive level
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Possess exceptional negotiation skills and a passion to deliver and exceed client expectations
