We are the SIMULIA Plastics R&D team located in Zhubei, Taiwan, responsible for developing high-quality simulation software for the plastic injection molding industry. Our products include SOLIDWORKS Plastics and 3DEXPERIENCE Plastic Injection Engineer, and are widely used around the world. Roles & Responsibilities
-We welcome local student applicants for a 6-month internship position with flexible start date. As an Injection Molding Software Development intern, you will work directly with the technical leaders of the team to enhance the functionality, accuracy, and performance of our injection molding simulation software.
- Work on the LEO AI technology as well as leveraging LEOxCursor to improve the code coverage metrics.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance whilst staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve development processes
- Collaborate effectively within an agile development team, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives while providing technical guidance, mentor team members, and make strategic decisions regarding technology choices and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- A good understanding of AI/LLM, Computer Science, software development, C++, Python, Javascript.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills and able to work independently and as part of a team
- 6 months availability , work at least 4 days per week
