五、資格與專長需求:
1. 具教育部認可國內外博士學位,具博士後研究或相關經歷者為佳。
2. 不得為我國公私立大專校院及學術研究機構現職編制內專任教師及現職編制內專任研究人員。
3. 具備英語教學能力與熱忱。
4. 以植物或微生物生技領域為主,具有生物化學、分子生物學專長者優先考慮。
六、工作性質:助理教授職級(含)以上專任教師。從事教學、研究與服務工作。
七、必開課程(英語授課):生物技術核心實驗課程,以及生物化學或分子生物學。並開授全校共同或通識教育課程至少2學分。
八、應檢附文件及資料:
1. 學經歷資料。
2. 五年內代表作一篇。代表作應為2021年8月1日後已刊出之SCI期刊論文,不可為 research note、brief report或review文章。且應徵者須為第一作者或通訊作者。代表作係與其他人共同發表,須檢附「國立臺灣大學教師資格審查代表著作合著人證明」(http://www.personnel.ntu.edu.tw/News_n_165_sms_10036.html)。
3. 七年內著作目錄及參考著作(2019年8月1日以後發表)抽印本或影本。已被接受但未刊印之著作須檢附被接受之證明。
4. 身分證或護照影本。
5. 博士學位證書影本、現職與相關學經歷證明影本各乙份。
6. 碩、博士修課成績單乙份。現職為國外任職之教授或副教授者得免附。

Faculty Opening Bachelor Program of Biotechnology and Food Nutrition National Taiwan University
National Taiwan University is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position (Assistant Professor or above) in the Bachelor Program of Biotechnology and Food Nutrition.
Position Description
Title: Assistant Professor (or Associate/Full Professor)
Quota: One

Appointment start date: August 1st, 2026
Qualifications:
1. Possess a doctoral degree from a domestic or foreign institution recognized by the Ministry of Education. Postdoctoral research experience or relevant professional experience is preferred.
2. Should not be a current full-time faculty member or full-time research staff employed within the established staffing system of any public or private university or academic research institution in Taiwan.
3. Demonstrated proficiency and enthusiasm for English-medium instruction (EMI).
4. Specialization in plant or microbial biotechnology; applicants with expertise in biochemistry or molecular biology will be given priority.
Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will serve as a full-time Assistant Professor (or higher) and be responsible for teaching, research, and service duties.
Lectures to be given (in English): Biotechnology Core Techniques course, as well as courses in biochemistry or molecular biology. Additionally, at least 2 credits of general education or university-wide common courses must be offered.

2. One representative publication of the last five years (published after August 1st, 2021). This cannot be research notes, brief reports or review articles. “Verification of Co-author’s Contribution to the Applicant’s Representative Publication” is required if the representative publication was co-published with other authors. 3. Reprints or copies of all publications of the last seven years (published after August 1st, 2019). Copies or photocopies of accepted yet unprinted publications should be attached, along with the proof of acceptance.
4. A copy of the ID card or passport.
5. A copy of the doctoral degree certificate, current job and relevant academic experience certificate.
6. A copy of the transcripts of master’s and doctoral diplomas. (Full professors or associate professors employed overseas are not required to submit these documents)
7. Three recommendation letters. The letters should be directly sent to the contact email below by the referees.
8. Syllabi for the Biotechnology Core Techniques course, as well as courses in biochemistry or molecular biology.
9. Supporting materials for review.
