1. Business Planning Process - Drive discussion and alignment with affiliate brands for annual budget, estimate and long range plan - Acts as liaison role at affiliate to seek clarification and guidance with regional finance on planning guidelines and changes 2. Annual P&L Management - Manage affiliate brand P&L including control of discount, cost of goods and operating expenses (advertising and promotional spend, selling) - Analyze cost of goods and provide recommended actions to drive gross margin improvement - Actively provide advice to affiliate brands and commercial sales team for retail sales and net sales during monthly financial estimate process - Collaborate with functions for revenue management - Collaborate and work intensively with affiliate brands for saving & cost optimization initiatives - Support monthly and quarterly brand retail sales and net sales performance commentary - Actively participate in monthly Integrated Business Planning meetings to drive alignment of financial estimate’s risk & opportunity - Work closely with Financial Accounting to monitor monthly financial results and analyze gap between actual and estimate - Provide analysis of saleable inventory level at department store counter - Support affiliate brands’ capital budget and manage capital spend within budget 3.
