    Job Overview Reporting to Construction Program Manager and as a member of the construction project team under SHL FCTY department, mainly responsible for design and design review of SHL CAPEX construction projects, in addition needs to support the construction management activities together with the team. Main Responsibilities • Work together with Construction Program Manager to collect / review user requirements from end-user departments and discuss with end user departments to verify and finalize the details of user requirement. • For small scale SHL CAPEX construction projects, perform project planning and design works to a level that project work scope can be documented, bill of quantity can be made and potential contractors’ quotations can be provided. • For middle to big scale SHL CAPEX construction projects, perform project planning and concept design to a level that project work scope can be described, work breakdown can be made, and potential EPC contractors’ quotations can be provided. • Get involved with project cost control, procurement works and contractor selection. Following SHL finance and procurement processes, based on user requirement, design deliverables and quotations, prepare CAR (Capital Acquisition Request) for obtaining CAPEX budget, proceed with bidding process for contractor selection, prepare and submit PR (Purchase Request) for PO release. Review and process contractors’ payment applications and change orders. • Supervise and monitor EPC contractors or design consultants’ design progress. Conduct design review among design deliverables from EPC contractors or design consultants. • Review contractor’s submission of shop drawings and material, and ensure submittals are complied with user requirement and design intent. • Following given directions, provide engineering studies / proposals of specific topics for decision-making of upper management. • Following instructions of Construction Program Manager, assist the team to conduct construction project management among projects undertaken by the team in accordance with professional knowledges and experiences, including but not limited to site management, EHS management, schedule control, and quality management. • Be a visible safety leader onsite, actively participate in the day-to-day environmental, health and safety management. • Assist with the required project closeout processes and documentation as well as ensure expectations are met to receive approval to close the project • Follow SHL SOPs and Work Instructions as well as related GMP requirement. • Accomplish the tasks which are assigned by upper management. Required Skills & Qualifications • With a bachelor degree of architecture design, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction project management or other engineering fields. • Architecture design education and / or architecture design experience will be highly recognized. • With experiences in construction project design or design review. Familiar with the practice of architecture and layout design as well as interface integration of various disciplines. Design or design review experience of biological manufacturing facility is a plus. • Familiar with full construction project life cycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, T&C and close-out. Experience in large scale, multi stakeholders and high profile construction project is preferred. • GMP related project experience is a plus. • Good command in English language skill of working level. • Good skills of computer software e.x. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD etc. • Sufficient people skills to be a positive team player.
