Q1. Do I need to teach in English at all times?
A: No, you don‘t need to nor do we ask students to speak English only at school since we see our place as multicultural environment. But we do design many opportunities for students to practice English here. However, needless to say, as an English teacher, we expect our English teacher to be able to speak English fluently when needed to.
Q2. Do I have other responsibility other than teaching itself?
A: First, it really depends on how experienced as a teacher you are and yes, if you are ready, you are expected to teach and do all the office/administration work that come with it.
Q3. How often should I test my students?
First and foremost, we don‘t give out many tests or quizzes because we want our kids to have fun with English. However, we do need to care how our students perform in class. Do you see they are not contradictive to each other?
