Pingtung Christian Bethany Home(PCBH, 屏東基督教伯大尼之家) is looking for disability care workers to work various shifts in Pingtung city, southern Taiwan. Opportunities for further work are also available in other area. Successful applicants will receive above award wages and fantastic support from our experienced coordinators.
About us
In 1963, a Norwegian missionary, Rev. Arnulf Konradjul Solvoll received God’s calling and started the ministry in Haifong, Pingtung County, a remote village without tap water and power supplied. In those early difficult days, he helped and educated those Poliomyelitis children without any hesitancy. The ministry provided vocational trainings, love, hope and gospel to the poor that were disdained by the society. The PCBH is located in Southern Taiwan. Over the past 40 years, with the love and strength of God and supports from the public and volunteers, we have, overcome numerous obstacles, and difficulties in serving hundreds of people with disabilities to get hope and living opportunities.
Today the PCBH is recognised as a multi-function Intellectual disability nursery institution, looking after 136 residents (include 26 abandoned infants and 38 orphans), age between 9 to 50.

The minimum essential criteria required that you must have to register for this role is:
1. The appropriate visa to work in TAIWAN (ARC)
2. Good verbal communication skills required. Intermediate Level Mandarin Chinese essential, multiple languages encouraged
3. Former experience in personal care, private homes, hospital or nursing homes
Two contactable Taiwanese references – 1 work and 1 character reference
4. Current identification (Passport and ARC)
5. Confidence to work autonomously
6. Diploma or Certificate in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care
(Overseas Academic Certificate must be Authenticated)
7. Current scooter driver licence and own transportation
8. Flexible availability
9. Willingness to work long term in southern Taiwan
