About the Role:
We are looking for a driven Supplier Quality Engineer to take charge of our material and part quality, from early development all the way through mass production. In this role, you will partner closely with our suppliers to guarantee manufacturing process readiness, part maturity, and strict quality compliance. If you‘re great at finding ways to improve processes, running thorough audits, and solving tough supplier issues, this is your chance to make a real difference in how we build our products.
Job Requirements:
• Education: Master‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or QA/QC roles.
• Material & Component Knowledge: Knowledge or experience with the following materials and components: plastic parts (injection molding, surface finishing), metal parts (machining, forging, stamping, die casting), electronic components, optical components (lenses, LCMs), or mechanical assemblies and structural parts.
• Quality Systems: Familiarity with ISO 9001 and experience with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and VDA 6.5 audits.
• Audit Execution: Capable of planning, conducting, and following up on supplier audits and assessments.
• Quality Tools: Proficient in using problem-solving frameworks such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
• Language Skills: TOEIC score of 600 or above, with medium-level proficiency in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, including the ability to read and write basic technical documentation.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate across departments.
• Work Style: Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Plus Points:
• Experience working on New Product Introduction (NPI), part qualification, pre-production validation, or pilot run support.
• Hands-on experience with supplier development and process audits.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence suppliers and drive quality improvements.
• Knowledge of process control tools, such as the Turtle Diagram.
