Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for service business growth, annual service revenue budgeting, and gross profit planning and achievement.
2. Evaluate and identify the optimal service business model for each capital product area and lead the transition accordingly.
3. Recruit, train, and mentor new service engineers to meet business needs.
4. Identify and develop service team leads for each business division.
5. Maintain a highly engaged team and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
6. Collaborate with service administration to manage the service team’s schedules for installation, maintenance, and repair of Getinge equipment.
7. Manage service contracts to ensure timely renewal of existing agreements and increase the post-warranty service contract uptake rate.
8. Analyze service data to identify trends and optimize the service team’s performance.
9. Provide service sales forecasts on a monthly and rolling 12-month (R12) basis.
10. Manage distributors to ensure technical competency and compliance with Getinge’s quality policy.
11. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GDP) and achieve the Getinge Quality Objectives set forth by the Getinge GS QRC.
12. Maintain accurate service documentation and support audit readiness.
13. Other tasks or job reassignments assigned by the company based on business needs.
