Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Relocation Services Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role is crucial in supporting the successful relocation of international hires to Taiwan, ensuring a smooth and positive transition experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in global mobility or relocation services and be fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) to effectively support both local and international stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for international employees relocating to Taiwan, providing end-to-end relocation support.
2. Coordinate all aspects of the relocation process, including but not limited to: (1) Visa and work permit application support. (2) School search (if applicable) (3) Orientation and settling-in services.
3. Liaise with external relocation vendors, real estate agents, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of relocation activities.
4. Advise employees on local culture, lifestyle, and practical living information to help ease cultural transitions.
5. Ensure a high-quality employee experience by providing professional, timely, and empathetic communication.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all relocation cases in compliance with internal policies and data privacy regulations.
7. Identify opportunities to improve the relocation process and contribute to the development of relocation policies and best practices.
8. Support other HR or global mobility initiatives as needed.
