Requirements and Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline. • At least 10 years’ working experience on SW background and project management. 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, preferably in IoT modules, wireless communication (e.g., LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, GNSS), or edge computing. 3+ years of experience in project management, especially in customer-facing roles involving ODM partners or cross-regional teams. • Proven experience in managing multi-phase technical projects from concept to delivery, including requirement gathering, development coordination, validation, and customer acceptance. • Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++, RTOS, Linux, and firmware development. • Familiarity with hardware-software integration, debugging tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git). • Understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), cloud connectivity, and device lifecycle management. • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, datasheets, and customer specifications. • Solid knowledge of project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and milestone tracking. • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Wikipage, or Smartsheet. • Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with ODM partners and internal teams. • Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, especially across APAC and US time zones. • Comfortable managing virtual meetings, status reviews, and technical workshops across different time zones. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven. • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and customer needs. • Willingness to work non-standard hours to accommodate global collaboration. • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
