Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead and setup a new factory, including facility layout, equipment installation, and workforce recruitment.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, production workflows, and quality control systems.
• Oversee and control daily manufacturing operations, maintenance, and supply chain processes to ensure timely production and cost efficiency.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Recruit, train, and mentor teams to establish a strong and efficient workforce.
• Build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and clients to support factory operations.
• Coordinate with various departments, suppliers, and managers to implement policies and procedures towards Company goals with HK, China, Bangladesh and Mexico regions.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian labor laws and international standards.
• Establish health and safety protocols for a safe working environment.
• Report to the Hong Kong headquarters.
• Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Degree / tertiary education or equivalent in Business, Operations Management, or related fields. Textiles/ Apparel industry is preferred.
• 10 years relevant working experience in Garment manufacturing, with 5 years in operational leadership roles.
• Proven experience in new factory setup, operational planning and project management skills.
• Knowledge of garment production processes, lean manufacturing, and compliance.
• Possess strong leadership, planning and analytical skills with problem solving and result-oriented attitude and open to new concepts.
• Positive, pro-active, able to work independently under pressure and communicate with all levels.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
• Good time management and task priority.
• Occasional business travel is required.
• Based in Cambodia, with flexibility to manage factory setup and operations.
