Job Overview:
The Senior Leader in Engineering Program Management (EPM) will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex engineering projects, such as consumer electronics, robotics and humanoid. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of program management principles. The Senior EPM Leader will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, driving innovation and excellence in the organization’s engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Management:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Engineering Program Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration among R&D teams, innovation, and excellence.
o Define and implement program management strategies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
o Provide guidance and support to team members, resolving complex issues and facilitating effective decision-making.
• Program Planning and Execution:
o Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
o Oversee the execution of engineering programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
o Monitor program progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless program execution.
o Facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related matters, providing regular updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Quality and Compliance:
o Ensure that engineering programs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
o Implement robust quality assurance processes and practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and solutions.
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and outcomes.
• Strategic Planning and Innovation:
o Contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic plans and initiatives, aligning program management efforts with business objectives.
o Identify and implement innovative program management tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
o Drive a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new ideas and approaches.
