Market President, SPA – Höganäs Taiwan
Höganäs is the world’s leading manufacturer of metal powders for powder metallurgy, enabling industries to achieve more with fewer resources. Our products are used across diverse applications, including brazing, pressing & sintering, surface coating, additive manufacturing, welding, and more.
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Market President to lead business growth across the SPA region. This role holds full responsibility for market performance, including sales, operations, and financial results for Höganäs Taiwan. As part of the Extended Group Management Team, you will collaborate with senior leadership to strengthen customer partnerships, drive growth, and capture new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and deliver the SPA market plan, including sales and P&L performance
• Execute sales strategies aligned with global direction and sustainability goals
• Drive business development and achieve growth targets defined in the 3-Year Business Plan
• Build strong market intelligence and provide strategic insights
• Monitor market trends and recommend actions to enhance competitiveness
• Optimize sales resources while maintaining long-term market position
• Strengthen collaboration across global, regional, and local teams
• Ensure high standards of customer service, quality, and satisfaction
• Lead value-based selling and engage with senior stakeholders (C-level)
• Execute go-to-market strategies and expand market coverage
• Lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams
You will lead Sales and Business Development teams to grow existing business and identify new opportunities in collaboration with global divisions. The role includes full P&L responsibility for Höganäs Taiwan and accountability for compliance with local regulations and global policies.
Additional responsibilities include representing the company to customers and stakeholders, translating global strategies into local execution, fostering a safety-first culture, and supporting talent development and organizational growth.
About the Role
• Location: Taipei, Taiwan
• Reports to: Division President, Powder Metallurgy Technologies
• Travel: ~30％ within the SPA region and internationally
Qualifications & Experience
• University degree in Business Administration or related field (engineering background preferred)
• 5–10 years of general management experience, ideally in a matrix organization
• Strong knowledge of industries such as automotive, e-mobility, energy, or industrial processing
• Experience in multicultural/global business environments is a plus
• English is required, and Mandarin is considered an advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
