Summary
STERIS is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Taiwan. You will be responsible for business strategy development and distributor management to drive the sales growth in Taiwan. You obtain industry and customer insights, identify trends and opportunities, develop impactful growth initiatives and drive the strategic plan to increase Keysight market shares.
You come with a test and measurement background and exposure to customer-facing experiences, particularly in the medical device industry. You are comfortable with challenger sales concept, strategic positioning, and strong customer focus mentality. As a business development manager, you are expected to work with different channel partners and exploring potential opportunities to drive business results.
What You‘ll Do as the Business Development Manager
• Achieve business goals and sales targets and to explore new market opportunities.
• Develop and execute annual business plan for capital and associated consumable goods.
• In-depth industry knowledge and propose potential external partnerships
• Possess a good understanding of the healthcare industry, country health policies, pricing/reimbursement strategies and economic customer needs within the context of current and future market trends.
• Work in close collaboration with existing distributors on new product launches, strategies, and innovative new business practices to achieve financial target.
• Develop relationships with distributors educating on our product line and professional knowledge to maximize sales opportunities.
• Monitors distributors sales performance on an ongoing basis, initiating corrective actions, preparing reports, summaries, analysis, and documentation on all aspects of region management.
• Support distributors in identifying and managing sales opportunity deriving from clinical support, professional selling, and KOL management
• Spend maximum time in the field with the channel partners support their professional development needs and to maintain and develop strong relationships and understanding of the customer.
• Shares personal selling experiences in a way that motivates others and teaches applicable skills.
• Analyze market information, identify and meet with new prospects and creates sales plans and marketing strategies.
• Understands market‘s unmet needs and expectations and consistently develop detailed product strategy and support channel partners
• Coordinate marketing events based on business strategy to accelerate sales growth
• Maintains awareness of the competitive environment to suggest strategies to better position the organization in the market. Understands STERIS‘s positioning vs. that of the competitors‘ and can act in a way as to generate growth opportunities for the division.
• Build and maintain long term partnerships with KOL and customers via truthfulness, integrity, and delivering on commitments.
• Closely work with medical society and KOL to do market development for long term business growth
• Maintains the skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line to all applicable customers.
• Consistently acts in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations while considering the reasonableness of request and fairness to STERIS
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
• Bachelor or Master‘s Degree or equivalent
• Adequate years demonstrated successful sales experience in the medical device industry
• Experience in business development, sales and marketing management
• Proven good business judgement and working experience within the healthcare industry
• Goal-oriented and highly self-driven
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
• Able to work independently and lead others to accomplish sales goals
