(1) Job Purpose:
The S&OE plays a critical role in ensuring short- to mid-term supply chain alignment and execution excellence. This role focuses on translating the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) output into actionable, real-time plans, managing constraints, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain supply-demand balance and deliver high service levels in Taiwan, whilst controlling inventory level for all channels within Taiwan. (Retail/eCom/Wholesale etc)
(2) Key interfaces and stakeholders:
• Demand Alignment with Sales/Marketing and communicating this demand to Global Demand Planners for each Business Units
• Customer Service/Channel Managements – Prioritise customer orders and manage fulfilment expectations
• Logistics/Distribution – Align on shipping schedules, warehouse capacity, transportation constraints and align on promo activities to ensure ramp up/down according to seasonal trend of retail.
• Regional S&OE Planning and rest of global supply planning team to ensure visibility of trend and ensure inventory control is in place
• Finance – Align on any short-term sales expectations and any shortfalls related to supply issues.
(3) Key Responsibilities
• Execution Planning: Translate IBP plans into weekly and daily production and supply plans aligned with Retail/ECom/Wholesale and any other channels
• Demand-Supply Balancing: Monitor and respond to short-term changes in demand, adjusting supply plans and communicating changes across functions.
• Ensure products are ordered according to the local assortment and ensure timely available of required products at the local DC by coordinating with relevant suppliers and Global Network planning teams.
• Constraint Management: Identify supply constraints (capacity, materials, labour) and coordinate resolution actions.
• Inventory Optimization: Maintain target inventory levels while ensuring product availability and minimizing obsolescence risk.
• Order Fulfilment Support: Partner with customer service and logistics teams to prioritize orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Exception Handling: Proactively manage exceptions (e.g., supply disruptions, urgent customer requests) and lead resolution processes.
